December 3rd to 6th
The planning team from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo continued community outreach efforts in Lemon Grove from Thursday December 3rd through Sunday December 6th, continuing to meet with community members and businesses. Community outreach events included a community meeting with residents at St. Johns of the Cross , a meeting with small business owners in Lemon Grove, community outreach at Lemon Grove's annual holiday bonfire, a focus group meeting with City staff and community volunteers and community outreach at local grocery stores. We have completed over 450 surveys and reached out to over 1,000 residents in the Lemon Grove community!

General Plan Update Public Outreach Summary and Draft Considerations
The graduate planning team from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo will be visiting Lemon Grove to present our work on the General Plan update at the Lemon Grove City Council Meeting on February 16th, 2016. The City Council will be conducting a public hearing and providing feedback to staff and consultants regarding the General Plan Update. The public hearing will be held at 6:00 PM at the Lemon Grove Community Center 3146 School Lane, Lemon Grove, CA

On the weekend of October 16th, the Lemon Gorve Planning Team traveled to Lemon Grove to conduct community outreach with community members and meet with City staff. While in Lemon Grove, the team worked hard to gain community input from community members, conducting a Focus Group meeting with Lemon Grove residents, meeting with students at nearby Helix High School and talking with residents and business owners in downtown Lemon Grove.
